Todd and Scherry, you are both extremely kind and compassionate towards everyone in this park. I have never seen you intolerant or disrespectful in any manner and if you have had to set boundaries with someone, it has been done in a respectful manner. I have worked with children with ASD for over 30 years. I understand and am very knowledgeable when it comes to the complexities and nuances of this communication and neurological disorder. I have had a child I support up to this park at least 4 times over the years and not once have I encountered any negativity from campers or yourselves. I have witnessed multiple incidents of dysregulated behaviour and know the supports that are required to help this child navigate these big feelings in a world that is multi sensory and can be confusing and conflicted for him. I have never felt he doesn’t belong in any particular environment, we just adapt to his comfort level, using positive strategies, time and space to support, not punish behaviour that is beyond his control. I have never seen or felt that you were not inclusive. You have been welcoming and accepting and for this I am profoundly grateful. I am appreciative and grateful to be able to have this child come to a safe and accepting place, where he can be who he is, fully and completely. Thank you, Mary Beth
You guys are absolutely amazing and run a beautiful business on the lake. There’s not many places people can go anymore where as parents we feel safe with our kids running free. We have that safe secure feeling at the trailer. There’s always a handful of people on the loose to try and take down happy places. We’re so happy you guys stood your ground and stuck to the rules. This is hard to write as I can’t fathom that someone could accuse these two people of anything so atrocious. Scherry and Todd are the epitome of Great people. They are two very hard working individuals both at their regular jobs and at the Park. They work hard at keeping park clean and improving the entire park. We have been here 6 seasons. Before we decided to become seasonals we visited several parks, out of all the parks we visited this is the one we decided to call our second home. Everyone here is friendly, helpful and here for anyone who comes to visit or even become seasonals. We have 7 Grandchildren who have always been welcome here. They have come at different times and have Never had an issue. Todd and Scherry keep being the wonderful people you are. My family all stand behind you and with you. We are 100 behind you and Todd. We love this campground, Scherry and Todd work so hard so we can enjoy the campground. The beaches are beautiful, the flowers are blooming beautifully. The children really enjoy being here, hearing them playing and chasing each other. I recommend this campground to all our friends and family. The families here are out summer family. H&R
The things that you do to provide a place where persons can enjoy the “gifts” that are around us is answering your call. You have touched MANNY (quietly). Know that there are Manny who are in your “camp”!! You know who ! M&M
What a wonderful place! We experienced a great amount of hospitality and kindness from all the Campers on Beaches at Pinecone Park. Scherry & Todd are doing a wonderful job and made us feel at home. We spent 3 nights around Canada-Day on this beautiful site at the Round Lake and were part of their legendary Cardboard-Boat-Race. We truly enjoyed being here. Thanks for the warm welcome, all the little presents, the boat tour around the lake, the karaoke show, maple syrup and good conversations. Your site will always be a big part among the memories of our road trip from Halifax to Vancouver. – Daniel Marx (travelled from Germany).
Family camping at it’s best. They have a playground for the kiddies, great beaches and the fishing is good. There is a recreation hall for those rainy days. Corner stores with bait, propane, and groceries as well as ice cream counter. Just a short drive from Killaloe or Barry’s Bay which have major supermarkets. – Pat B.

We stayed for a week in July 2019. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. We needed a longer hydro hookup than we had and they found one from another camper at no extra fee. The bathrooms were very clean and the access to the laundry facilities was perfect. The kids loved the playground and the game room was great to have on a rainy night. The beach was clean with easy access. We will definitely be back. – Debbie B.

Absolutely love this campground my wife and I travel 5 hours every year to camp there. Last year we rented a cottage it was the best experience of our lives. Would definitely recommend this place for families, couples, friend’s, everyone will love it here. – Christopher A.
